Summer Adventure is a state-licensed day camp sponsored and hosted by Black Rock Congregational Church in Fairfield, Connecticut.  Founded in 1976, the camp exists to offer children a safe, active summer of friendships and fun, while seeking to develop quality of character and personal faith. Campers can look forward to a variety of activities that will make each day a unique and memorable summer experience. Special themed activity weeks are highlighted by amazing games, special guests, and day trips made to beaches, museums, zoos, theaters, boats and amusement parks, just to name a few! We’d love to have you join us this summer! 1st-6th GRADE PROGRAM
Tuition: $199/week
Pre-Care: $30/week
Post-Care: $30/week
Weeks of June 28 and July 20 will include a $10 fee for extended day trips.

JUNIOR HIGH PROGRAM
Tuition: $235/week
Pre-Care: $30/week
Post-Care: $24/week
Weeks of July 13 and August 3 will include a $10 fee for extended day trips.

Registration is limited to children who will be entering 1st-6th grade and 7th-10th grade in the fall on a first come, first served basis. A non refundable $50 deposit is required for each week a child is registered. Camp tuition includes: staff salaries and training, program costs, insurance, field trip transportation and fees, licensing fees and crafts. Walk-in registrations are not permitted. The children are divided into age groups to allow for age-appropriate activities.

Every effort is taken to ensure the safety of your child. The ratio of staff to children is about 1 to 5, and key staff members are certified in CPR, life guarding, water safety and first aid. To ensure your child’s safety, camper drop-off and pick-up policy will require you to sign your child both in and out on a daily basis. Any other pick-up arrangements will require a written note with your signature when dropping off your child in the morning. For safety reasons, there will be no exceptions to this policy. In accordance with Connecticut state law, no child will be admitted to camp without a current medical examination by a licensed physician. We must have a copy on file before your child will be allowed to attend.


The regular camp day runs from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM Monday through Friday. Pre-care (7:30-9:00 AM) and post-care (4:00-5:30 PM) are available for an additional cost. Staff supervision and activities will be provided during these additional hours.  Transportation to and from Summer Adventure is the responsibility of the parents.

Summer Adventure’s staff will consist of certified teachers and college students who have a love for children. The staff strives to build wholesome relationships as positive Christian role models.


A tuition credit of $50 will be given to each family that refers a new, first time family to enroll in Summer Adventure. The credit will be applied for each family that is referred.

Summer Adventure is licensed as a day camp by the State of Connecticut and is open to children who are entering grades 1-10 regardless of race, creed or color.
